Application Used – W20 Doors & Screens
Description – This barn started out as a working hay store on a local farm and after a complete overhaul, it has now become a state of the art converted barn, used to host a number of high end events and parties. With the client’s view to keep the original barn look but make this a functioning personal events venue, we were instructed to install our W20 doors and screens to provide large areas of glazing to completely transform the look.
Working in partnership with local builder, Charlie Hughes, we have created a truly stunning conversion which shows the potential of the W20 range of doors and screens. Fitted with 6 double doors, 1 single door and 27 screens, this project is one of Cotswold Casements most memorable to date. Sticking with the original barn look it has been cladded externally with corrugated steel and internally it has had a complete re-fit with reclaimed oak and underfloor heating. Using our SWF brass butt hinges accompanied with bronze Frank Allart door handles, to give the doors their final finishing touches, we have also introduced overhead door closers to meet the client’s requirements.
Opposite this magnificent barn is a stunning shooting lodge which Cotswold Casements were pleased to have worked on, working alongside Cotswold Traditional Joinery, who provided all of the timber subframes and timber doors, we then inserted our W20 steel fixed frames to give it the finishing touch.
We believe this is a truly stunning project and please browse our gallery below which showcases this project to the full;
