100% Recycled Steel. Our raw material comes from a blend of recycled steel, including post-consumer, post-industrial, and household sources. Steel is recognized as a self-sustaining material because it is fully recyclable, playing a significant role in preserving natural resources. Thanks to its strength, steel typically lasts for about 60 years without needing replacement and if the product has a layer of rust protection, we expect a life expectancy 100 years plus and it requires minimal maintenance.
Choosing steel instead of aluminium can be beneficial for several reasons. Steel offers greater strength and durability, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications. A steel frame is also significantly narrower than Aluminium giving a more elegant appearance and allowing increased natural sunlight into the building.
Thermally broken refers to a construction technique that involves creating a barrier between two materials to reduce heat transfer. This method is commonly used in windows and doors to improve energy efficiency by minimizing thermal bridging.
