The
importance of replacing windows with those of a design similar in character
to the originals has now been recognised both by English Heritage, Heritage
Scotland, CADU and other influential conservation groups.
The use of inappropriate materials and designs can radically change the whole appearance of a building, whether this is a Georgian mansion, a cottage in a village setting or a modern movement 30's house. However it may be necessary that the new windows are fully compliant with the requirements of the Building Regulations Part 'L' April 2002. Cotswold Casements are able to supply windows to meet these stringent Regulations. |
