Case Study - Truro, Cornwall

A sensitively refurbished property in Cornwall has had all of its fenestration replaced by Cotswold Casements, using a steel window system which offers improved performance for the occupants and enhances the period styling.

The aesthetic attributes of the window package have been further enhanced by some of the frames for the main elevation being curved on plan. All of the steel frames are hot dip galvanised and finished in a white polyester powder coat to ensure a long, low maintenance life.

The glazing within this property has been undertaken with 14mm sealed units having bars adhered to the outer pane of glass the dimensions of which reflect those of the original horizontal framed steel windows.
